I'm aware that there are a lot of younger guys out there, but as a chap in the late 30s, let me show you the height of cool! Check it out..

The best thing about that video, other than the music, is the audience sitting there with their hands on their laps.

Is it just me, or did the Black Crowes totally rip these guys off?

very much the same style, no?

btw. calling this and these guys the epitome of cool must be satire.

calling these guys "cool"???

I'd agree with the white trash label, rockers usually trend toward this adjective, ESPECIALLY ones with a southern bend/twist.

Just because I like GNR, doesn't mean I ever wanted to look like Axl Rose, or Slash for that matter.

do you want to know the epitome of KOREAN cool? (and this crosses all cultural/international boundaries)

it's certainly not the super skinny, uber-metrosexual fairy boys in their little outfits and pink ties/accessories etc.

There are a couple of Korean guys in my gym. Big time adjosshis... I'd say in their fifites.

BUT - they all work out, have physiques where you can tell they are lifters...(though not in the overdone Cro-Magnon/Neanderthal style and manner - see Lesnar, Brock )

and they have full heads of hair cut in that military (yet not too short) style (like Maverick from Top Gun)

These guys are SUPER effing cool and I completely give them props.

They could easily pass for either being in their late thirties or early forties but are probably a good decade older. (with a man, aging is all about losing hair and getting fat... eliminate those factors and men age very well)

seeing all that greying hair in that spiky fashion is so cool (and makes me goddamn envious, they have thicker/more hair than I do and I'm much younger) .

There is NOTHING effeminate about these guys. They all look like badasses. Guys I'd never mess with.

At FIFTY PLUS??

THAT my friends is the epitome of "cool".

Have you seen Axl lately...he has a very fresh, urban look...

yep the Wishbone Ash is cool too.

the thing with Free was that naked unproduced sound. 4 guys and their instruments and perfect timing and cohesion! No margin for error just practice - an equally good example is Fire and Water:

check out the sequence from 2:22 - 2:42 - amaaaaazing!!!!

Look at Simon Kirke the drummer - not flashy but keeps metronomic time. They are all 18-22 in the video and they just don't make 'em like that any more!
