|
|
Hi,
Im currently a GEPIK teacher and next year I will be working with SMOE. I got my degree and criminal record check apostilled for GEPIK last year and now my recruiter is telling me that I need to go through the process again and that it is GEPIKs policy not to give back apostilles. Has anyone ever succeeded in getting an apostille back from GEPIK? (or SMOE?) Or has anyone ever written a letter requesting it back? I really dont see why they need to hold on to it.
Also they are asking me to do the criminal record check which seems quite silly because ever since I did that check I have been in Korea so how can I have possibly committed a crime in Australia? |

GEPIK doesn't have it.
They are submitted to immigration and they are the ones who keep it.
You will need to get new ones for a new visa.

In that case has anyone ever tried writing to immigration? I don't see why I should have to apostille my degree again as it is the same document that it was last year. |

Maybe I just got really lucky, but noone from SMOE has ever asked to see my degree, lol...
(which is good because I didn't get a stamped copy from the consulate, just dragged my original with me...) |

Never tried to get an apostille back. Doubt it would happen though. |
