Your mom was one wise woman.

It seems to be a downright epidemic now that people want to be involved in the private lives of others. Whatever happened to minding one's own business?

I actually believe that gays should stay in the closet, or at least not shove something which should be private in the face of others (no pun intended!). But if anyone should get a glimpse into that closet, it's too damn bad and they should just look the other way. It's none of your business.

Come on...do you actually believe this? What about pedophiles and murders? Should they stay in the closet with their activities? Everything we do affects other people. It's called justice. It's why we should go into Dafour and do something, because if we don't then it will come back to haunt us. Every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction. It's a scientific fact.

Seosan you should be banned for your language. You are obviously not here for good debate, but only want to inflame others.

Hmmm. I guess the "sodomites" felt the same way toward the "Christians."

Don't strawman me. I don't even know how to answer you without violating the TOS. How the )*&^*%!( do you conclude form my post that I tolerate murder? Obviously, I am talking about things which have nothing to do with the glimpser into the closet. If there is any problem, it is up to the affected people to complain.

OTOH, maybe you are right and I am wrong. So let's put cameras in everybody's bedrooms, OK? Or let's just allow cops to enter anyone's home whenever they want just to check and make sure nothing bad is going on.

Rolling Eyes

Do you really support that?

Exactly when did "minding one's own business" stop being a value?

And if you suffer from voyeurism, successful treatments are available from professionals.

It's fiveagles. He's not making any sense, comparing gays to pedophiles and murderers. Personally, I think it's really up to the individual if they want to come out of the closet or not, but I think this is a big issue for gays because for them being forced to be in the closet has been part and parcel of their repression as a group for so long. So although it is a private matter, the coming out action represents something political for them.

As long as there is a closet, they are being repressed. Try living in one your entire life and see a possible opening to it. I bet you shove your foot in and push with all your might to wedge it open...

I'm not comparing them to pedophiles and murderers. BACASPER says that the bedroom should be off bounds. I was just saying, what else? Where do we draw the line?

What about sleeping with dogs? How about polygamy?

Anyway, what should be a private matter and what should be left alone? That was the point I was trying to make.

I want to clarify what I wrote earlier.

Homosexuality as well as heterosexuality, i.e. sexuality in general, ought to remain a private matter.

So why are the AIDS vectors in SF making it everyone's business? They want to make it political, I say what they get is what they deserve. Including bullets and busted heads. But ONLY with rubber gloves on!

Here's an interesting story, chipping AIDS vectors for the public good from Indonesia. However, castration, public execution and/or banishment to a deserted island would be a better way to protect the public from these demented perverts.

Indonesia's Papua plans to tag AIDS sufferers
Nov 24, 2008

JAYAPURA, Indonesia (Reuters) - Indonesia's Papua province is set to pass a bylaw that requires some HIV/AIDS patients to be implanted with microchips in a bid to prevent them infecting others, a lawmaker said on Saturday.

Under the bylaw, which has caused uproar among human rights activists, patients who had shown "actively sexual behavior" could be implanted with a microchip to monitor their activity, lawmaker John Manangsang said.

"It's a simple technology. A signal from the microchip will track their movements and this will be received by monitoring authorities," Manangsang said.

If a patient with HIV/AIDS was found to have infected a healthy person, there would be a penalty, he said without elaborating.

The Jakarta Post newspaper on Saturday quoted Constan Karma, the head of Papua's National AIDS Commission, as saying the plan violated human rights.

The local parliament was expected to introduce the controversial legislation in Papua, which lies in Indonesia's easternmost fringe, by end of this month, Manangsang said.

The number of HIV/AIDS cases per 100,000 people in Papua is nearly 20 times the national average in Indonesia, according to a government study in 2007.

Health experts say the disease has been spreading rapidly from prostitutes to housewives in the past years.

High rates of promiscuity, rituals in some Papuan tribes where partner swapping takes place, poor education about AIDS and lack of condoms are among factors that cause the spread of the disease there.

Do you not like the way he's looking at you? Makes you feel uncomfortable? Brings out weird 'feelings', does it? Is that why you keep bringing it up?

No, I just figure you're an AIDS vector yourself. No telling what kinds of diseases you're spreading!
