Has anyone heard of the "English Experience Center" program in gyong-nam?

According to a recruiter, she says that in this program, there are two expat teachers placed in an elementary public school in gyeong-nam, in 12 school districts.

Theres 22 teaching hours/week, 28 work days paid vacation plus national days.

According to the recruiter, the gyeongnam board "can afford to run its own ESL program in addition to the EPIK of the Ministry of Education. The English Experience Center of Gyeong-nam board allows certain elementary schools in certain cities and towns of the province to have at least 2 expat teachers. This program was just launched by Gyeong-nam this fall."

So anyone heard about it, or experienced it? Although this is pretty new so I don't know if anyone has actually experienced it yet.

Anything new will come without a curriculum. Be ready to make one if you take on this position. They probably won't give you much time during working hours.

The immersion centers are a new 'dream' idea the government had to get more English into Elementary schools. I think a few have started in other cities and provinces and I have a friend in one in a Seoul public school.
The Gyeongnam jobs are apparently mostly in the smaller towns, not bigger cities like Changwon.
Make sure you know what school and town you are to be placed. The jobs are only in the elementary schools and the lower grades only.
The contract I have seen is identical to the EPIK contracts with 20 days holiday - not 28. Please make the recruiter checks this.
Also be aware there are no curriculum or planned programs organized or in place for these new centers, just classrooms being converted to be used as immersion rooms. You will obviously be planning and running the program by yourself with no Korean co teacher- and no teacher manuals.
The schools have to hire the teachers and organize everything themselves through the immigration office.

46 Elementary Experiential English Educators Needed
The program was designed to create a learning milieu for Elementary pupils to learn to communicate in English, partly by learning how to think in English with the least possible involvement of Korean language in the learning curb. Objectives include teaching the students how to use the language spontaneously and orally, linking meaning with the target language. To do so a direct co-relation between the concepts and English is established through the use of regalia, pictures, story board, pantomime, and various audio-visual aids provided by the districts.
