what sort of price is reasonable ???

i spend about 6000 won a week in interent rooms - is it worth getting a PC if just used for internet ?

cheers people

If it's just for internet and resource-friendly games and you're strapped for cash, I'd suggest you look in the used market. Could probably find a decent system for next to nothing (less than 200.000). Anything operating above 750mhz with 256mb ram should suffice. Only hardcore gamers or multimedia enthusiasts need the latest and greatest pcs...which are pretty much overkill.

You might want to inquire at the PCbangs. My friend scored a nice system while they were upgrading their PCs.

If you don't need power, go for a laptop... you can get a used laptop with about a 1ghz processor for not too much and the mobility is nice. Especially since you'll be able to take it home with you or on vacations if you want. Try Yongwan in Seoul.
