I'm wondering if any of you public school teachers out there have been able to work an additional job (legally) along with your PS job. I am currently in the VISA process for SMOE and it doesn't say anything specific about working at an additional school. I am fully aware of how to legally work another job but I have only known people with multiple hogwan jobs that have done this. I was curious to picking up some adult classes in the evening at one of the adult hogwans that teach things like business English. If their is anyone out there that has done this I would be curious to hear what they had to do in order to get permission from their Public School and the immigration process. Thanks in advance for any feedback. |

I know someone doing it but he is on an F4 visa so it's not like they could stop him. Never met anyone on an E2 doing it. |

As a public servant it is illegal for you to take a 2nd job (other than at a 2nd PS).
This goes for Koreans as well as the FTs.
If you are caught you will be fired. (Public service act - NOT an immigration issue). |
