If I ever have children, my sons will be circumsized.
It's just more hygenic. |
Why don't you just teach them about good personal hygiene and let them decide if they want to be circumcised or not. |
because by the time they are old enough to decide, it will hurt like hell ^^ |

:lol Indeed. Although sometimes kids' heads bounce and they laugh. But maybe circumcision is different.
Hmm... I probably won't, but I don't know.... You gotta admit, uncircumsized peni don't look so pretty. |

With a name like Blade I would think you would be all for it.
Personally, I just think the uncut *beep* looks a little funny. Like a little snuffaluffagus or something. |

Whereas newborn babies are immune to pain?
They get a teaspoonful of brandy to knock them out and the process is shortlived, uneventful, completely different to being done at a later date.
Anycase, bables cry all the time whenever they get the chance.
Done later, pre op pubic hair gets shaven by a male nurse, and he wants to do the legs as well, right down to the knees.. That's all fun, in case you were wondering. Then it's nil per mouth, a complete surgical team waiting for you in the morning.
Do your kid a favor, insist on it. If you have a new age doctor who demurs, ask him if he's been done. That'll shut him up. |

So giving the baby booze if your logical answer to pain? Somehow that alcohol is supposed to make the whole situation better??
or is it the fact that "babies cry all the time", so really, it's no big deal??
WTF kind of logic is that? |

same as when they have a tooth ache, nothing wrong with giving them some alcohol to knock em out ^^ all you need to do is ask the simple question, do i want to have this skin ripped off my pen1s when im born, or when im 12+ years old, where i will be surely needing time off to ice myself |

It depends on whose opinion is more correct. |

| Not sure about the answer but my initial response would be no. This is based on the belief that marriages are partnerships and decisions such as these usually are made together. However I'm curious to hear the opinions of people who think the Father should get a stronger say. |

| I think that both should talk it through, but that the father's opinion should carry the final weight. He, after all, has a more intimate understanding of the issues involved. |

Not necessarily true. It could depend on how many times wifey has been around the block before (or after) the marriage. |

There's another option to the question - how about 'not at all'??
I've gotta ask man, are you a parent? Do you actually give alcohol to your kids when they feel pain? |
