the city where I'm from has denied me my background check on the grounds that I;m not a resident. I applied for a criminal record check from the state of Illinois, and got it, however, it says valid only in Illinois and has no stamp or seal and now won;t be accepted at the apostille.
Anyone else have similar problems and know how to get a police report if you no longer live in the country? |

I got an affidavit from the US Embassy stating the police report was accurate. Maybe you can do that in the country you are in. |

Thanks, I'll try it, but I'm not sure if they're going to accept it. Did yours have a stamp or anything on it? Honestly, mine looks like somethign that I wrote and printed up on Word. |
