Hello everyone,

I've got a major headache again trying to find a craft to do with the kids at my school. My boss has asked me to do some sort of Christmas ornament (or Christmas tree ornament).

My major problem in doing crafts here is that I have no clue what art supplies they have here in Korea (Bundang, or Seoul area) . . . and even if I did, when I try to explain what I want for a craft, they usually have no clue about what I'm asking for.

I usually make crafts based on materials that I can see around me . . . for a few weeks we've done nothing but Origami, because that's the only colored paper that I can find around here. (I had to take an example of a Pencil Crayon -- aka. Colored Pencil --- from a student to explain what I wanted for my art class today).

I am just so frustrated with all of this. I teach mainly boys, and they typically hate crafts. I'm trying my best to find fun ideas for crafts (we already did the paper mache balloon thing).

If you have any suggestions on craft ideas (especially Christmas Crafts) or where I can go and see what kinds of craft supplies they have here . . . please let me know !!!!!

Biggish alpha stores will probably be your best bet for supplies. My students had fun with building popsicle stick boxes/ cabins/ spaceships
