Does anyone know if Korea uses 60 mhz VHS, (the same as N. America and Japan), or the other type, (the same as China and the UK)?
Yes, I have tried looking on a videotape for some sort of identification.
Thank you |

I believe they are like the ones in the States because I have used a tape in both places. |

Korea uses NTSC tv format like North America rather than PAL (used in the UK among other places- China? I wouldn't know...) and consequently VCRs and VHS tapes are the same as the North American standard. I have no idea how MHz fits into this but if North America uses 60 Mhz then that's what they use in Korea too. |

If you have PAL videos you want to watch - I have a PAL (UK Europe video player machine) to give away for free - very nice machine - just doesn't play Korean videos -
refer to the Buy/Sell/Trade forum |

Canada, USA, Korea use the same system of video.
Also it is 48000hz and 29.97fps for NTSC video.
Pal is the same hz or mhz but 25fps, and different in size (shape). |
