I'm obsessed with Sonic Youth, and Ciccone Youth was one of their side projects. Ciccone is Madonna's last name, and I'm half Italian too.

Well, this is my name in a number of places. Several years ago, I was researching a backpacking trip to Southeast Asia. I was on break for a month, and I became very obsessed with reading internet forums. In particular, I read Thorntree over on Lonely Planet's site. As I read page after page, I found that I would not go to sleep until after the sun came up. I had completely reversed my sleep schedule in that month.

When it came time for my first post on a forum to ask a question, I was half drunk at ten in the morning after reading all night. My eyes were in pain. My back hurt. I laughed as I had to come up with a name to register and ask my trivial question. I thought to myself that I was losing touch with reality. It has become my name. On forums where I am more active, I am simply LT to the regulars.

Since then, I have spent significant amounts of time in Thailand and Southeast Asia. I have finally lost touch and made the move to Asia. Well, I have that name registered for the day I eventually say something stupid and get the boot!

I brushed my teeth one night and was flabergasted by the refreshing freshness, so I traipse along the planet choking out the local flora with my cooling death sprouts.

ok - I'm leaving soon enough anyway - so here goes

back a few years ago I went off camping up in Canada hoping to photograph some moose - and I'm female, btw

no moose - despite having gotten up at 4:30 in the morning and hanging out where the rangers told me to go - no moose

everyone else seemed to be seeing them but not me; I even heard them stomping around so I knew they were there in the woods by the lake where I was hoping to see them -

I went back to that particular place - La Maurice Natl Park - 2 times that summer,no moose. drove back thru Vermont - plenty of "watch out for moose" signs - no moose

I went up to New Hampshire looking for moose to photog - no moose

Summer vaca time the next year, went to Wisconsin, Minnesota and over the Upper MIchigan Peninsula - was told there were moose around - crossed over to Canada again - no moose, nada - even stopped in a great bar and ate dinner - chatted for a while - the proprietor showed me his photos of - you guessed it - moose!!

my friends started kidding me about it - hunting moose became my quest - I'd photog many animals but for some reason, moose seem to elude me! a gf gave me a cute vest with moose on it - and I started buying moose knicknacks.

moosehead became a user name -

I don't really drink much beer and hadn't even thought about moosehead beer but because of that most people here think I'm canadian and male !! very funny!!

American female, thru and thru - so now ya'll know!! ha ha!!

I'm originally from Michigan (Great Lake State). Sixteen years ago, when I first started into Korean traditional archery, I achieved a level called 접장 (kind of a veteran archer). I was then given a pen name of 청호, which means blue lake, by our club's director, in recognition of my home state. I liked the name and have used it since.
