I think the guy's reaction is pretty classy, considering the grief he must be going through right now. :/ Albeit he can't exactly badmouth the pilot or anything, but to extend his well wishes to the injured pilot who basically flew the vehicle that killed his wife, 2 young daughters, and his mother is pretty admirable to me.

Bless this man in his time of grief.

I truly hope he can pick up the pieces and go on.

Fighting back tears, he said of his daughters: "I cannot believe that they are not here right now."

"I know there are many people who have experienced more terrible things," Yoon said. "But, please, tell me how to do it. I don't know what to do."

This is one of the most profoundly sad things I've heard.

I'm waiting for the Korea haters to try and turn this into something negative about Koreans.

Pkang, I think that goes on in the other forums. Korea doesn't get much play here. We're all America, all the time.

He seems to still be trying to it all in. Damn, what a bizarre and tragic thing to happen.

Tough to imagine what he's feeling right now, but it's amazing to me his degree of stoicism (maybe that's not the right word, but I mean he's very strong given the circumstances).

I think everyone has to really feel a lot of sympathy for the man. I think 99.9% of people either regard it as either a freak accident, incompentence on the part of the US military, or a shitty mechanic.

I actually don't think people will be talking shit about Korea as it relates to this even in the General Discussion forum. The only way I even see that happening is if the 2008 Plane Incident generates the level of protests as the 2002 Tank Incident. Then, all bets are off. If that happens, there will be a half dozen threads on page 1 of the General Discussion forum at any given time for weeks or months.
