As the title suggests, I have a Samsung card.

I'm in the market for a Macbook and, considering the rather extreme pricing of the new models, I'd like to use my card to purchase.

I've managed to score some great deals in the past with interest free terms of up to 10 months when using the card for other items.

Has anyone had experience doing the same at the Apple store, or a reseller? What were the terms?

Lastly, where would you suggest I try? Ideally, I'd also be like to grab the EDU discount!

Aint worth it in my opinion...you'd still be paying 250,000 every month for ten months. Screw that. Get a nice desk top!

I have one! There's a shiny 24" iMac sitting on my desk.

My new school, however, will not be providing a notebook for work. Considering that my classes are usually quite media-intensive, I need one.

I COULD get a windows box, but honestly, I hate them. I either need a Macbook, or a hackintosh.

My friend simply bought his from MacMall in the US, had it shipped to his parents home who then just shipped it to Korea. Apple has their own proprietary power adapter just for Korea (part of the World Travel Kit) that he bought. He saved some good cash.

Do you really need to buy Apple's kit or can you just use the cheap adaptors available in Korea for a Mac laptop?

The Apple kit wasn't expensive...and the way i see it, if you're gonna drop something like $2K on a Macbook, better to be SAFE than SORRY. Why risk having a power surge short out your Macbook because you wanted to save an extra $10 on the power adapter...
