I can only surmise that this topic has been beaten to death... or to a further state of death in some, no long stagnant, thread. However, the miracle of the search function of this site leaves much to be desired when looking for such a beast.

The question at hand is: is there a benefit to adopting a North American Union such as there is in Europe. One where all territories considered North American would be part of the union. I'm not talking about one country absorbing another or anything like that.

Thoughts? Remember, links or it didn't happen.

Yes it's going to happen and not for the reasons that you are thinking.

I've heard a lot of people ranting about the North American Union, but they were all incredibly ignorant Americans who thought the UN was run by ZOG to force our children into gay marriage with Muslims. Also, there seems to be a strong belief that Canada and Mexico are both actively and publicly seeking this North American Union with full approval of their electorates. It makes me laugh.

Do you have evidence that the coin in that picture is intended to replace the peso and dollar(s)? Or, do you only have a picture and an assertion?

How about you elaborate a tad. Don't let Alex Jones do all the talking for you.

Yeah. As a software professional, I like the idea I can cross borders without having to worry about work visas. I can sell my talents anywhere on this continent.

Don't read anything into my posts that I do not say. This is a fault which seems to be prevalent on this board.

I didn't say a thing about pesos or dollars, nor did I even make any assertion at all. The OP asked about the NAU; I posted a link to an image of its currency. Nothing more, nothing less.

I like just to provide information, and then for people to draw their own conclusions. Must there be an ulterior motive or conspiracy behind everything?

That theory about there being an, "Amero," currency, because Canada, the US, and Mexico will come togethor as one, is nonsense and will not happen in our lifetime. This is not to say it will never happen, because it's possible in the future, but I don't see the USA disolving itself and destroying it's American identity so easy just yet. If it were considered, it would have to be called something like, "The United States, Territories, and Provinces of North America," with a red, white, and blue flag showing more than the current 50 stars.

That's right! The new USTPNA

I can't possibly see Americans agreeing to it even if the vast majority of Canadians and Mexicans wanted it (which they surely don't).
