It's the only Welsh that I know, but I've put it to good use. I adopted a cat from the pound in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and his face was sorta scratched and dirty, but he was the friendliest little guy in there, so I took him home and named him Illysook. He's a good cat and I miss him like crazy. A friend at home is caring for him.

CMU alum? I got my bachelor's from there way back when...

Same here.

I lived in the infamous 'Towers' for 2 years of that time, among other places...good times.

My way back when was in the early 1990s...kinda similar to your way back when?

About a decade before that. I also lived there while my wife worked on her master's.

Travel is always on my mind.

Zen just sounds cool, almost militant. I travel and see travel as a relgious duty, almost a militant calling against staying at home and watching life....a Jihad against Voyeurism !

I have a list:

Mongolia (Darhan, Erdenet,Bulgan) - 2009
Mali, Niger -2010
Bangladesh,Nepal India -2011
Ukraine/Rumania -2012
Transoxania (Uzbekistan,etc) 2013
Russia 2014

I use this alias for everything, ever since I was about 16. It's because I'm anti-social. When I was 16-19ish I was big into dressing like a punk and purposely avoiding other people.

Of course I don't do that stuff any more, nor am I *as* anti-social, but I think it still fits Wink

The HFX part is for Halifax, Nova Scotia.

My Korean name given to me by my church members, based on my name:

Wendt (wondo)

Vern (bern)

Supposedly it means "God prospers"
