I was in a subway station in Daegu earlier today when I noticed an advertisement for some kind of shocking German orthopedic shoe. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me so I was unable to get a picture, but it read:

New York, Condon, Frankfurt, Milano.

Nice.

he's saying we're here to help them spell

"London" not "Condon"

to the older, nonhagwon generation the shape of the two letters might seem similar, easily mistaken for each other

And foreigners are not employed much in business, marketing, and graphic design advertising like they are in schools teaching elementary material with business degrees and higher ability skills sets. I wish the exciting career jobs were really out there in Korea, America, and around the world, but it's really just plain bad luck in timing to expect that. Business people are usually cheap, stingy, and selfish if it's not for their personal benefit so they never do as good work as they should. This applies all across the board; not just Korea.

Remember that one in China who gave his restaurant the name, "translate server error," because he was too cheap to pay a foreigner to produce a name, but used his computer instead?

I say, if they can't or won't get it right, let em' fall flat on their faces since they're not offering good jobs, if any at all nor doing much that benefits society as a whole.

What's your problem?

Yeah, I did check and noticed that there's also a place called Condon just outside Nashville. I just wasn't aware that it was such an international orthopedic footwear hub.
