|
|
Hi,
I need to go to the doctors, but having only been in Korea a few days, can somebody please recommend one that is quite easy to find? I haven't even started my job yet and haven't met any foreigners, so any advice is much appreciated...
I live in Nowon-gu, by the way, so the closer the better.
Thanks. |

You could try St. Mary's Catholic Hospital in Uijeongbu. I've heard they have English speaking staff there. Sorry, dont have contact details though. If it is an emergency, I wouldnt hesitate going into the first hospital you see - most doctors and nurses speak basic English. |

Want the 1st Western hospital in Korea? Want English speaking doctors trained on Western standards?
Make an appointment with Severance Hospital's international clinic in Sinchon. Google "John Linton" for the head doctor's info.
Fuck Korean medicine. |

We've had good luck at the international clinic at Samsung Hospital in south Gangnam... Take the Orange line to Irwon exit #1 and look for the signs... It's very easy to find and they speak english.
Here's the phone number... 02-3410-0200
They're open from 8 - 5 on weekdays |

I can attest to the fact that my wife and I have only gotten the best of treatment from the International Clinic in Itaewon. Dr. Kim is a complete professional and I would trust him with my life. |

Since they study medicine in English, just about all Korean doctors speak at least some English.
All the ones I have used have been near-fluent. |
