GW did one heck of a job dodging that shoe. He's got some quick reflexes going on there.
That's probably the last time his TV station will be allowed inside to film a major news interview. |

I'm guessing someone will be looking for a new job after that little episode.

Well, if all the enemy can do in Iraq is throw a shoe at Bush, then I'd say... USA WINS!

That was not a good move by that Iraqi journalist. I mean journalism is supposed to be a professional profession. A journalist isn't supposed to be throwing shoes when he has been invited. I don't like George Bush one bit, but this was very inappropriate.

A "professional profession," eh?
A president isn't supposed to lead a country into war on false pretenses either, nor decimate the population of and wreak havoc upon another country which has not attacked us. What was inappropriate is that the attempted attack was way too mild.

I must say I'm quite impressed with Bush's reflexes. And Don King agrees with me.
Quote:
Boxing promoter Don King also saw the shoes being tossed at President Bush. Speaking to website TMZ.com in regards to the shoes thrown at President Bush, King stated: "Bush has unbelievable reflexes ... he can stick and move like a boxer!"

I was also impressed with the George Bush ducked. Anyway, the reporter wasn't thinking so much about this colleagues who probably didn't like what happened, because reporters don't want another of their own, who was invited, like them, to be throwing shoes at a president of another country near the leader of their country. It's embarassing.
