Good way to have immigration waiting for you when the time comes to leave.

Not recommended.

i will ask my son when he wakes up. he is here in korea working during his uni vacation. i believe it is in the back of some pc-room upstairs near the queen st end of the arcade.

considering it is now afternoon and he is still asleep i have put on some loud music so he should be up soon... Smile

ok he's awake - and i am mistaken. in the wintergarden there is a korean eatery.

the norebangs he knows in brisbane are -

1. near hungry jacks in the queen street mall. from hungry jacks go towards north quay (up the mall), pass a couple of jewellery shops, there is a bit of an alcove which take yu to an elevator. up the lift to a pc-room. yu have to ask - they have a norebang out the back. its a really good one.

2. there is one in the valley - on brunswick street. between vinnies and the station. he says it looks "dodgy".

Very Happy

To the OP,

I am unclear, are you the sole provider for your kid, or is it you just want to spend time with him?

I would suggest if he has a mom or other who can take care of him, you try to score a university gig with massive time off. During those big breaks, you can fly home and see him, or fly him here and spend time with him.

If it is not a doable thing, look into summer/winter camps.

I AM his Mom. Smile Do people actually go back to North America over the course of their year? Wouldnt that be expensive? Its an idea, but I dont think I could leave him for more than a couple of weeks at a time.

I think I stumbled accross oe Norebang in Montreal but it was really expensive. Hmmmm...
