I've put up with this for 3 years and now I want to know if anyone else wants to kill these guys at 7 in the morning. I sleep with a fan and my window closed and use ear plugs and they still wake me up.

Yeah, those guys make me crazy. I have to use a pillow, and even then I refuse to flush my toilet after my first leak.

I know what you mean. The very first morning i awoke in Korea, I thought the vegetable seller with his megaphone was actually calling people to arms- "The north is invading! Get your weapons ready!".
Now i fortunately live on the 3rd floor and no veggie trucks ever come down my street, thank God.

I hate them too.
One of mine sounds really stressed out and angry, as if he really is calling out army commands.

My area is nice and quiet in the morning. The bizzare thing is I live in a commerical area but as it's mostly bars and brothels 7am is as queit as it gets.

A friend of mine and I had planned to find where that truck driver lives in our neighbourhood and go to his door in the morning, saying
"BATTERIES! WOULD YOU LIKE SOME BATTERIES!!???? I'VE GOT..A, AA, AAA...C AND D, BATTERIES!"
etc.
Of course we never went through with it, it was just a pipe dream.

i lived in 3 different apartments in korea and each time i moved something strange happened. a perfectly good building directly next door (right outside my window) was demolished and a larger building was erected in its place. it never fails. ear plugs don't do much for a jackhammer at 7am.
