haha, why is the worst suburb in Melbourne Fitzroy? Just seems like another of the endless and uniformly similar suburbs around Melbourne.

I am surprised, I heard Adelaide is nice.. what's so bad about it?

Worst city for me so far is Virginia Beach, USA. It's a big Naval port city and the culture is made up of 1) military people 2) industries and people that both serve and hate the military people; strip clubs, pawn shops, scummy bars, etc etc. I was counting the days to get out of there...I was in my early 20s when I lived there. I went back about 12 years later, thinking I would have a different opinion since I was just visiting and not planning to live there. But, no, I still hated it.

Dacca in Bangladesh, without a doubt. Makes Adelaide in Australia seem like utopia, in comparison.

Haven't lived in Daegu, but wasn't impressed. Probably my least favourite town in Korea. Too spread out, the central city near the train station stank to high heaven in summer, (antiquated sewage system) & endless tower block apartment buildings.

Btw, it's spelt suburb, not 'suberb'

Manila. Maybe Phnom Penh but I dunno.. probably still Manila.

edit: actually Delhi in the summertime, without air conditioning. But that is just because I have very active sweat glands, more than against the city itself.

Incheon and St Louis. Could be worse, I suppose (even they have their nice areas).

Really? Have you been to Delhi in July? If so, and you enjoyed it, you and I are built for different weather my friend. Phnom Penh I didn't hate but living there would definitely get to me. Manila, I got assaulted by a prostitute in broad daylight in the middle of the street, and generally didn't think much of the place.

My mother went to High School in that place. No wonder she never attends her reunions.

Seattle.

Not sure if it's the rain or what, but there's something about Seattle that gives everyone an attitude problem.
