Try the Namdaemun camera shops or the buy/sell forum on here.

I used to frequent the Namdaemun shops, and I picked up a lot of equipment there in 2002-2003. However, I would now suggest you head over to Chungmuro the film/photography resource district. The shops are more and much more fun with lots of antiques, large format shops, shops that have nothing bu Leicas and of course plenty of digital cameras. Pluse there are lots of darkroom stores with cools stuff, even if you're not processing your own stuff.

If you are really into photography, try Chungmuro on a Saturday morning. Come out of the subway station opposite of the Namdaemun folk village and then walk back in the direction of downtown. It's about 3 blocks from the subway station.

If you're just looking for a used camera, you can probably find what you want in Namdaemun.

You probably know this, but buying used digital can be risky. Be careful. Take a notebook, fire off some images and then look at them upclose in your computer.

I recommend that you just go buy a new one. I picked up a Canon d450 and love it. Totally.

good luck!

I really dont want to spend more than 500,000W. i also want a canon or nikon.

i was looking at a new nikon d40 before i came to korea and new they were around 400ish...so I figure a used one would be around 300.

id like to buy a new one if possible any suggestions at that price range? would like to stay with canon or nikon

The new canon 50D looks promising. It's a bit out of your price range though.

I was looking at the Pentax 200D in the summer, with a lens it was 600,000-650,000W online, I haven't checked it since about August so it could have come down since then. I had a pentax manual camera for about 10 years and it was pretty good to me.
