Anal sex is filthy and disgusting. I am astonished that people would happily post here about such sickness.

How could you not know what a DVD room is? Do you live in north korea?

If they have had "that" reputation for long, who would want to say they've been to one and where it is? No surprise that a foreigner doesn't know, especially a just-off-the-boat one?

Hunt about for a bowling pin on top of a building.

First off mayorgc...we may be feudin on another thread but your 'Besides Anal Sex' had me laughing for like 10 minutes.

As someone who is sometimes alone on a Friday night or with only 1-2 other people who don't want to get liquored up I suggest the following:

1) Jigsaw Puzzles. Get a puzzle and sit down and work at that and talk amongst each other. Then spend 2 hours searching for the missing piece.

2) Card games, non gambling ones. I'm a fan of Contract Bridge (does ANYONE in Korea play???), get a total of 4 people and play a few rubbers. Of course with Anal Sex you should always enjoy a rubber.

3) Board Games- There are board game cafes and those sound like fun. Cataan anyone?

3A) Combining both games and puzzles- Interactive Fiction. Sit down with a friend or three and work your way through one of the many enjoyable text-based Interactive Fiction games out there. Enjoy the challenge of trying to navigate your way around places using only text. Live for the agony of realizing you had to 'examine' something and not merely 'look' at it in order to solve the puzzle.

4) Discussion Groups, Community Newspapers, Knitting Clubs, Art, Writers groups, Book Clubs, Music practice, Drama readings. You know all that 'gay' stuff people used to do 100 years ago. Actually it's really quite fun.

Steelrails: Alas Bottoms, Quinces, Snouts, and Starvelings are hard to come by. (shudder)

5) Big meal of the week. Cook a 5-7 course meal from scratch and invite anyone with a pulse. After the 2 Korean people show up, complain, and then hurriedly leave, you and the two other foreigners that show up will be fat, happy, and get to spend a nice evening smelling each other's farts.

6) Fireworks seem to be available at many stores. Enjoy risk and 2nd degree burns? Me too. Grab a bundle of fireworks and head to your schools brand new soccer field and have the world's greatest Roman Candle fight. Bonus points for giving your date the Roman Dongchim. Note that the Roman Dongchim prevents the evening from progressing to the Anal Sex.

7) And when all else fails for Friday Night Fun- LARPing. D&D. Car Wars. Gurps. M:TG. Cyberpunk 2020. Dragonlance. Warhammer. Starfleet Battles. Just please don't be a loser and play Everquest. Or Forgotten Realms.
