I want to buy diamond stud earrings for a Christmas present.

Where can I find jewelry stores in Seoul like the mall jewelry stores from back home?

1) Study up a bit and then use Bluenile.com, but doubt if they'll deliver here. You could buy on-line, have them shipped to your family, and then have your family them ship them over here via UPS or some other insured agent.

2) I strongly urge against buying any diamonds in Korea. Actually, avoid buying jewelry here if possible. It's a buyer-beware system here; no prices are listed, and there is a lot of price fixing in highly agglomerated jewelry areas (e.g. Jongro or Itaewon). You REALLY have to know your prices if you are shopping for anything above the 200 price range, and the quality is often lacking anyway.
