First they took off CNN and the AFN - Now Discovery Channel. Last night I was looking forward to watching that Alaskan survival show and there was no Discovery Channel; instead it was some Christian channel. I hope it is not true. I loved Discovery. I will try to upgrade when I renew, but someone told me that an E2 visa holder can only subscribe to the first level. Not sure, but it was really disappointing.

I thought it funny when they ditched arirang on my cable they replaced it with a chinese language show. Nowon isn't noted for having many chinese. English people, people learning english, sure.

You can always get your school to cosign.

Wow, that would suck. I'd drop cable. It's still on channel 25 here.

The sucky thing here is that if you want to add CNN, it costs an extra ten thousand won per month (almost the same as the initial basic cable bill).

Set up a slingbox from home, and tell them to shove it up their kimchi.

The BBC Knowledge Channel is probably the most excellent channel in Korea. I love it.

AFN got axed here in Gyeongi-do earlier this year. I miss Letterman and Craig the Scottish guy. Just as well though I guess because they stopped airing the NFL games.

Oh man, that would suck like going to a high school class and finding a bunch of kindergarten kids you have to teach instead.

You didn't miss much. It was your typical topical cancer reality show episode.

My father has cancer and it's getting worse. Should I stay or should I go.

I have CNN, National Geographic, History Channel, Arirang, MBCESPN, KSPORTS(?), and some movie channels. And I have HD channels as well with KCTV's best package (signed a 4 year contract). No Discovery Channel though. How do I get that?

When was this channel added? Where are you located?
