Hi,
I did a bunk with a bad school in 2004 but i liked Korea and wanted to return. The security at the airport took all my money off me but not my ARC cos it was packed in my suitcase. They took a copy of my passport etc.
If i applied to come back to Korea to a different place, do you think my leaving early (aka doing a bunk ) would be problematic for me in relation to get another ARC and a visa please?
Anyone know thanks? |

You would probably be ok....but all you can do is apply and see what happens. You'd know well before arriving to Korea whether or not your visa was accepted. |

You need to get on a plane to Korea stat. You seem like one hell of an educator. |

Yes just come over,
there are plenty of jobs available for you,
you don't need to worry about all that formal paperwork,
you can get a casual position,
just talk with the guys in the black clothes in Itaewon,
tell them your Russian. |

I am an Irish female. Because my ARC card was packed in my suitcase, the Police made jokes and took all the money I had in my wallet on me. ( not my cash I had packed in my suitcase ). They toyed with me laughing saying I was going to miss my flight Which my flight ended up calling my name as I was * late * ). They took a photocopy of my passport as they couldn;t get through to the school as it was holiday time .
Then the teacher of the school had the cheek to write to my father ( who I hadn't lived with in 18 years - as I had escaped at 16 years ) demanding he pay back my flight money etc...
Would hate to get back to Korea to be arrested! LMFTO!
Just asking advice to make sure such a thing wouldn't happen! This time I think I would go to Busan or Je Ju! |

Jesus H christ there are a load of guys I would love to put the hurt on having heard that story. Just for universal justice reasons. Get their badge ID so you can post it somewhere next time in case there is someone who can do anything. There isn't. You got screwed because you're a foreign woman. If you're going to Korea and you are a foreign woman, don't fugg up. You are not well liked here, except for biblical reasons. |
