got an email from our new employer, they want our original passport to get our new work visa. Has anybody heard of this? we have never had this happen to us in 6 years here.
mrs flyer and i are in the us and are only planning a brief layover in Korea before heading off to Thailand for some beach time, this could really muck up those planss |

Don't give anyone your passport, it's beyond moronic to even think you should do so ... excepting the required times to accomplish the task -- this is not one of those. You do NOT need to give anyone your passport for the Visa Issuance (Blue Form) paper; just a copy. |
