I have a full goatee and stache that need a nice trim. Coming up to Seoul this weekend.

Does anybody know of a good place to get it done? Not that concerned with cost.

Poet, why not just go to Yongsan, in the IPark mall, you can buy clippers. That's what I do. I think you can get a decent set for 30,000 won.

By the way, give me a call if you want to go for a couple beers and some dinner or lunch.

Blue Club will do it. There's one by pretty much every major station. They will definately give you a weird look though, and you will likely have to ask a second time.
PS Just so you know, they go by mm here, not #'s (for the clipper guards) like they do back in N. America.

I hear you all. Funny how that is, Koreans forgetting their history and all. Some of the coolest beards I've ever seen are on old (and I mean OLLLLD) Korean guys.

Polonius. I have an old pair of clippers, but they're on their last legs. I priced the pro-clips here (the only place I've seen them is in the place I get my remaining hair cut.) and they cost 150,000k won. Wooooeee, too rich for me!
Saturday lunch might work just fine. I'm supposed to hook up with an old mate I see about once a year on Saturday night. That depends on whether he's mobile after having minor knee surgery last weekend. I'll give you a call. I hope you have a great new years.

No way man. My beard trimmer was 30,000 in Home Plus.

It even came with a comb and some kinda good scissors ^^

Alhtough I ditched the goatee ages ago, I still use clippers for a trim of the neck and for an occasional hair cut. I bought a nice set of Panasonic washable clippers with guards (ranging from 3-12 in mms) in Yongsan last year for about 50,000w.

I found clippers in Rich Mart by accident this afternoon. Anna Shall Professional Electronic model # ACD-3050 PET Clippers. 35,000won.
In case PET could stand for something else, there's a cute puppy on the box.
I guess I'm so hairy that I look like an animal....

The best part is that when I opened the box, I despaired because the blade was one stainless steel, and it's opposite white plastic. Then I thought, why not try the blade assembly from my old clippers. Clips in and out perfectly.

Ok, so it's 11:15 and now I think I need an exorcism. My new trimmer is charged and safely tucked away in the bathroom cupboard. The old trimmer tossed in the trash. It hasn't worked, no matter what the cajoling, in about 6 weeks. So about 40 minutes ago while I was in the bedroom talking to my wife, it turned itself on. Normally my wife would say I was fuggin' with her, but I was beside her in the bedroom. It took a moment to figure out the sound. So I went out, took it out of the trash, and turned it ..... ON. So now it's off. I shake it. I slap it on my knee. I bump the end. I bump the side. I turn it off again. Nothing. I take the charger cord and plug it in. Nothing. Back in the trash it goes. I stand in the doorway and talk to my wife. Two minutes later it goes on again. I obviously forgot to turn it off... So I turn it off. Back in the trash it goes. It's now an hour later. Family is asleep. I'm online. It turns on again. I just stabbed it through and through with an AK bayonet knife. I think it's dead now. Well, I hope so.

In case it's not, does anybody have the number for the Ghostbusters franchise in Korea?

edit. Those of you with Filipina wives or family might appreciate this. My wife is a little afraid, and thinks that maybe the clippers didn't want to be thrown out yet.
