I did complain. I went up the ladder too.

The school won't provide it.

If I can just drop my schools phone number and get the same results, what does it matter? If getting my card gives more of a headache then just leaving a phone number (which it will), then I'm just not going to bother.

It's illegal for you to not have a card and

it's a serious problem if something serious happens to you.

Furthermore, they've been lying to you about it. This is a public institution that has been lying about something that is required by law.

Them saying they'll pay for it is crap. Someone is pocketing the money and is banking on the fact that you'll probably never have the need to use the health insurance. They are gambling on your health and safety!

Trust me, my first public school in Suwon did the same thing. "Don't worry you have health insurance, don't worry it's on the card, don't worry if you need to go to the doctor just tell us and we'll make sure the insurance covers it." That was until I sustained a serious ankle injury and...as it turns out there was no insurance. My friend, who had the same injury, paid about 20,000 won in bills whereas my bills were about 300,000. What did the school say, "oh...it's because that thing isn't covered by "our" insurance...so we will pay 1/3 of the cost."

They are screwing you and this is a serious problem and a serious case of corruption. This needs to be taken higher than your school.

Or grow some balls and tell them that you're not coming into work until you have insuarance because you'll be to busy visiting both the labour board and the Gyeonggi Office of Education. If they say no, then the next day go and file a complaint with those that you need to.

I am a dentist,,and sometimes i have foreign patient,,,

If you have the national health insurance card,,,some of treatment are covered by it,,,

For example,,,filling materials

- Amalgam,,,: it is covered by insurance,,,so it is cheap,,but not strong and
liable to have the secondly decay under it,,,
And there is a dispute over the mercury ,,,
-resin,,: tooth color material,,,not covered by insurance,,,it is asethetic but not hard,,so generallly recommand for the anterial tooth or premolar tooth,,

- gold,,: It is expensive ,,not covered by insurance,,,but most hard and strong,,,,good for the posterial tooth,,

- root canal is covered by insurance ,,but after that you need to cover that tooth with a crown,,,,and crown is not covered,,,

If you have another question,,,,please send a mail
