People have been telling me it is possible to get costco delivered to my door. Has anyone else heard this? Do you know how?

Holy Crap! That is quite expensive! I looked at that site for all of about 30 seconds before promptly closing the tab.

Probably easier and cheaper to rent a car and drive from Ulsan to Buk Daegu where Costco is.

You can get many of their products on Gmarket and not have to buy large quantities either. Costco is so geared towards businesses, but it's the only supplier of these sorts of American products they carry. I get things on Gmarket and not have to buy a hundred dollars of peanut butter at at time though it's $20 for 2 jars of good natural PB.

That is still expensive. Organic PB at my local supermarket is only 5,000 won.

The quantities arent that monstrous at Costco and for most things the prices seem almost identical. If someone lives near a Costco then I suggest just going there. Taek bae can be a giant pain in the butt sometimes.

that's not for one-1lb pack, but 4. Still a little pricey, but bacon can be worth it.

yes, marked up but perhaps worth it if you don't live in Seoul, Daegu or Daejeon. also if you don't mind paying for the privilege of not having to see all the Kims filling their plates with onions and mustard in the food court.

I live in Jeollanamdo province, and in Gwangju, there is a wonderful small market called "The Underground Grocer". His tagline is "Purveyor of all things NOT Kimchi". He carries many of the same products, you don't have to buy such huge quantities, and his prices are comparable, if not downright competitive. Not only Western products, but Thai, Euro, Japanese, and Chinese items.
