Just wondering about what kind of schedule you have at your hagwon.

M 2:20-3:00, 4:10-4:50, 6:00-6:40

T 2:20-3:00, 3:10-3:50, 5:10-5:50

W 2:20- 3:00, 3:10-3:50 (best day)

Th 2:20- 3:00, 4:10-4:50, 5:10-5:50, 6:00-6:40

F 1:30-2:10, 2:20-3:00, 6:00-6:40

I come to school 10 minutes early and go home across the street every off time.

What's your day like? Do you leave during breaks?

I get to school about 20 minutes before the first class of the day and leave about 40 minutes after the last class after all my duties are said and done...

Mon: 9:30-10:20, 10:30-11:00, 11:10-12:00, 12:10-1:00, 2:05-2:55, 3:05-3:55

Tue: 10:10-11:00, 11:10-12:00, 12:10-1:00, 2:05-2:55, 3:05-3:55

Wed: 9:30-10:20, 10:30-11:00, 11:10-12:00, 12:10-1:00, 1:30-2:20, 2:30-3:20, 3:30-4:20

Thu: 10:10-11:00, 11:10-12:00, 12:10-1:00, 2:05-2:55, 3:05-3:55

Fri: 9:30-10:20, 10:30-11:00, 11:10-12:00, 12:10-1:00, 2:05-2:55, 3:05-3:55

All told, I'm in a classroom for 23 hours a week... I teach 32 class hours a week (1 class hour = 50 minutes), and I'm in the building for 40 hours a week.

Hey pocariboy, same schedule as me basically, don't you feel drained at the end of the week? 1 hour teaching little kids is like 3 hours doing a desk job in my opinion... It's starting to require more than a beer a week to recover...

"drained"....I feel almost DEAD. Only 43 more days of this "experience" then off to something new. Mind you, I actually prefer doing all the classes in a Block Fashion rather than having a schedule where the classes are scattered through out the day. Best of the two evils, I suppose Confused

Well, I've got 10 more months left... I guess I kind of get a break because on Wednesdays my last two classes are older middle school kids that are exceptionally well behaved and excellent students... but those 7 year olds... it's taking me alot to not lose my temper.

I used to work 4 - 10. Now I work 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in a Korean firm. I'm not a teacher anymore. YES I've joined in on the slave chain but I also make twice as much. Laughing

Monday - Friday: 12:10-5:10pm, with a 45 break every day.

I'm in the classroom about 20 hours a week, come in 10 minutes before class and leave immediately. I'm not making 3 or 4 million, like some teachers, but I love my school and schedule. Very Happy
