I've recently started using torrents to download movies. I use BitComet and usually download from wTorrent.
The problem is that any recent movie i download (2008) always seems to be encrypted. There's always instructions to visit some website and follow a series of steps which involves giving your email address, and waiting for a code to come back. Is this some sort of dirty trick, or is it standard procedure?
Thanks |

It's a dirty trick.
Use other websites. Preferably member sites like Demonoid.com which don't allow such dirty tricks. |

plus you might want to consider downloading utorrent.
www.utorrent.com
It is small and (imo) is a much better torrent client. Most private sites don't allow bitcomet. |
