Yup, and I play it daily.

There are a couple of us that play it quite often. PM me if you want our Steam contact info.

I've seen this at my local Emart for 39K. I've been playing the single player and I've beaten all the missions. Unfortunately, I don't really see a lot of replay value in the single player. That is, storming zombies can only be interesting for so long...even with the "randomized AI".

Is it really fun online?

Man,

online you can be the heroes, or the boss zombies. you can ambush people, hide, take them on, etc. It's always different.

I heard the random AI is good. How is it?

I signed up with steam and downloaded Team Fortress 2 earlier this year because of the TON of hype. I was a little underwhelmed...even for $20. "They" were going on and on and on...about the Team play and there really wasn't any. Just some kids ranting back and forth to kill some guy or another.

That's why I'm a little skeptical about this game. I'm worried it's more hype than substance. I've seen the graphics and I've seen the gameplay...but the multiplayer seems very limited. Any comments?

I play it daily, though on the Xbox. I don't think I have ever had as much fun playing a video game. I think I have played single player once, I just play the co-op and versus. Does the PC version only have the first 2 campaigns for versus mode too?

I too never got into Team Fortress and agree with the team-play aspect of it. In L4D you really do have to work as a team, you have no choice really as you will get swamped otherwise.

and the random AI is really good too. I can play the same campaign over and over because of it, things change every time it seems.

Hey man. I added you. Also, I have gone ahead and purchased a server for 3 months. I want to compare that server to a dedicated server that I will run on my PC and see which one feels better. Man, yesterday I got home at 6pm and didn't get off the PC from playing L4D until 2am. That game is crazy! I LOVE PLAYING THE INFECTED. hahahahahhaha Laughing
