While the cigarette didn't start the fire, the fire was still started by a guy who was a smoker. Dogbert was talking about smokers, not the act of smoking and what lead to fire. No one said the cigarette smoking lead directly to fire.
We're walked down different paths in this conversation. Where will we end up? I'm hoping on Broadway as I've always wanted to be in a musical. |

How is this an example of "mob mentality"? I would assume that each person fleeing the fire in such a fashion is trying to save his own individual life. |
