How does this work?
If they reimburse you in won, do they give you the exchange rate of what you paid?
How long does it usually take to get reimbursed (public school)? |

You get you airfare in WON, the same amount of WON you paid, but sent to your account back home. The exchange rate doesnt matter to them, and aint their problem. It takes around 4-6 weeks usually |

To say there is a good estimate of time for public schools in Korea is absurd. Even in SMOE, some people get their airfare on the next paycheck, some get it in a month or 2, some have waited 4-6 months for their money. Sometimes it's handled by the school, sometimes by the district, sometimes by the SMOE office.
The school or district will usually get you the money much quicker. |
