Most Universities do not pay for the visa run

Under the current law, you must now do a visa run. It was common for schools to transfer visas from school to school, but this is not the case any more. New job, new visa, visa run.

Hmmmm. Damn. Sounds draconian. Imperialistic even. Maybe Kim Jong-Il can clear this one up for us.
