Hi guys,
Just wandering on luck here. I'm in Chungbukdo province. In the middle of know where. Closest foreign bar is in ChungJu. Most women are foreign chicklets are already taken by other guys. Any ideas, comments, or suggestions that would improve my chances of meeting someone. I live in the country LITERALLY, and all the women here are married so it's a no odds game here.

Why ask here?
We're all too busy posting here to have social lives.
And we're so introverted, we'd likely wet our pants talking face to face with a member of the opposite sex. |

Hey WesHarris,
If you truly want to improve your chances of meeting women, change jobs and go live in a city.
Not only in a city, but near a place that is regularly frequented by women such as:
coffee shops
clubs
malls
bars
and gyms
Otherwise, you're like a fisherman looking for fish in the desert. No matter how good you are with women, you won't find them.

Really guys, a book is not going to provide you with the same thing as real life experience would in that particular regard.

It's mojo, dude. Plain and simple.
You have it or you don't.
And as we all know, it can be temporarily misplaced.
My first stint in Korea was in the Cheongju, Choong Chung Buk Do of which you spake. Back before globalization/imperialism brainwashed the poor creatures.
I was told for weeks it is impossible to have any kind of 'relationship' with a K-hottie.
Once I got laid there, I was like some hero with godly characteristics.
Not true, my boy. Just doin what came naturally.
Addendum: I did meet her in a bar in the shady part of town. *heh* |

OP
I would go the opposite route and find some chill Korean dudes to hang out with and talk with them about "women" in general. If they like you, they may help you out, if you catch my meaning |

I'm in Chungju. If you want to meet a Korean chick, learn some Korean. Preferably from said Korean chick. I dated around a bit before I met my current girlfriend. There are two universities in town, but they're not around this time of year.
Where exactly are you? Jecheon, Eumseong or somewhere even more rural? If you come to a bar called "Dangerous" on Friday or Saturday night you're guaranteed to have someone to speak English to who may even be able to introduce you to someone. We're a pretty friendly crowd. |
