| The 2nd link failed to mention the need to test E-7 visa holders, that's the visa CPN was on (even though he would've passed a CBC). |

Why the hell was he on an E7? Was he working as a professional, teaching on the side, or was it a shady hagwon? |

| ATEK is alive! I wonder if there's anything others can do to help this excellent idea they have; does anyone have contact information? |

Right, gotcha. So, do E-1's have to go through the E-2 rigmarole? |

Don't. I bet ATEK will be disbanded by the goverment and all it's members will be deported. Only a matter of time. |

| Been on an F2-1 for almost two years. With ATEK's hard work, I guess I can look forward to doing a criminal records check and drug test as well. Thanks guys. Keep up the great work! |

I know too many E2's who just relish the idea of forcing F-2's and F-5's to go through the same rigamorole they have to. Instead of challenging the rule itself which is discriminatory, they'd rather see everyone suffer. Then they complain about Klogic when they themselves show none.
Anyone who is here for more than one year should only have to submit documents once. Due to the idiocy of bureaucracy, they have to submit every year. Ok that sucks. What if I've been here 10 years? Thanks to these morons I may have to spend money to go home and deal with the same crap. YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG TOOLIOS
For one thing you need to get it through your head that an F2 and F5 visa is not an employment visa, its a residency visa; two different things all together. With this visa I can engage in whatever work I want. I have gladly submitted any documents that a Korean has had to, and if need be will submit one criminal record check from my own country.
They just don't seem to get the amount of baloney so many of us have to go through: how despite being here for eons and supporting a family, I still face the same crap they do when I get a job, go to the bank, try to receive services from businesses etc etc et al. Those who make their approach to this problem that all waygooks should go through this process need a good slap up side the head, since they obviously cannot begin to understand how their situation doesn't resemble mine in the least. |
