So the best tournament in the world starts this weekend. I suppose I haven't got a hope in hell of watching it on normal Korean tv and the internet streams will probably be unwatchable.
Which bars in Seoul are advertising it and saying they will show the games? I'm particularly interested in the Scotland vs Wales game, kick off 12am local.

the reason it's better than the RWC is because we get to enjoy it every year.

I feel like I'm missing out if I just watch it the next day after downloading it. I'd rather watch an average stream live.

I've used that site plenty of times in the past, usually for the big boxing fights. I will probably end up using it as the Welsh game is on Sunday night. I hope they end up ditching the Sunday games in favour of Friday night/Saturday.

Go to http://www.atdhe.net/# click on live TV, click on BBC2 (which is actually BBC 1). The first match is England vs. Italy at 1400 GMT or 2300 Korean time. The second game is Ireland vs. France at 1650 GMT or 0150 Korean time.

Do you know of any conflicts with sopcast with Windows Vista. I'm running Vista and don't want to screw up my computer with incompatable software. Thanks.

Both games are on in the wolfhound for sure (they posted it on Facebook), and hollywoods has shown the rugby for at least the last 2 years. Both are in Itaewon.

i use sopcast with vista.

justin.tv is another site worth looking at a short while before kick off.

any other links posted would be much appreciated.

which bar will make a proper effort showing it? I mean having it on a big screen with the sound turned up? I'm guessing it's unlikely anywhere as most of the punters on a Saturday night would have no interest

Hollywoods usually puts some effort into the rugby, i remember the game Ireland trounced England was on in there and the place was jammed with rugby fans. People know the games will be shown (on big screen), and that's the reason they head there. It's never usually that busy anyway, unless there's a big game of some variety on. I'm out of Seoul this weekend, but it's definitely where i intend to go to watch the 6 nations when i am here.
Have you tried Scrooge's- i never have for the 6 nations but always heard it was a rugby bar.
Sounds like the wolfhound intend to put some effort into it, but the place will probably be too jammed to enjoy or hear the game/commentary.

I got really homesick last year watching the games over here. The 6 Nations really livens those grey, dull new year Saturday afternoons up back home, although it does seem a lot earlier than usual this year.

Be nice to catch some of the games in a bar over here, though not much luck in my one horse town. Regardless of where you watch it, it wont be the same as falling out of a pub back home having spent the best part of the day drinking and then celebrating/commiserating your nations performance.

I really think we (Wales) have a good chance of winning it again this year. But damn, that first game away in Edinburgh won't be easy.
