Anyone who downloads movies from P2P networks surely should know the alias 'aXXo', and the incomparable contribution he has made to an online database of downloadable movies.
Well guess what, they are making a movie about him!

His DVD rips are always very good quality and reliable, and I salute the man, whoever he (or she) might be!

I would guess a collective as well, from the number of uploads under the name. If not, someone has far too much free time. |

He/they is/are great. There is also klaXXon who I believe to be the same group. I can't stand the ones that upload movies as rar files. I just want to right click and go. I don't want to be faffing about. |

I dislike how all his movies are made to be small enough to fit on a CD...that was great and all back in 2003.....but with faster internet, DVDs & hard drive space being so cheap he really should compress them less(around 1.3 gigs is good).
Sometimes the only copies of a movie your looking for are ccompressed to hell rips that look like crap when blown up to HD size.
Speaking of movies...does anybody know if there is a korean pirating site for blu-rays? With the super speed of korean internet, I could easily download perfect blu ray rips. |

I believe klaxxon is an imitator designed to take advantage of the type of search query that torrent finders run by including "axxo" inside the name. Klaxxon rips usually aren't bad either though, so no one complains much. |

I only use rips from aXXo if I can't find the HD / bluray version. I've been using hd-bits.ro to download HD content and it is wonderful. The quality difference in a 700MB file and a 4.7GB+ file is vast, especially if your PC is connected to an HD monitor/TV. |

I'll never understand why people rant and rave about aXXo's rips, they look like absolute shit. Try any one of these movies and compare it to the aXXo release to see what I'm talking about.

i just like to downlod the smallest file that's very watchable, axxo did this really well. I believe klaxxon also uses the name to grab users looking for axxo, i remember when klaxxon first came around people start hurling abuse at their uploads, saying that they will never replaxe axxo, it was funny, almost as though klaxxon had killed axxo, needless to say all these people will be downloading klaxxon ever since axxo disappeared.
my admiration now goes out to eztv, they are great for tv shows and generally upload a 350mb compressed version (which i use) or a large 1.3gb file for higher quality |

aXXo is an individual. He/she belongs to a group called Darkside RG. aXXo is not KlaXXon. |

I usually watch movies on my laptop so around 700mb to 1.3gb is perfect. If I had a server with a couple of 1TB drives in it and a decent LCD/Plasma, I would definitely download Blueray rips. But if you just want the latest DVD releases to watch, his(and comparable uploads) are just dandy. |
