I'm on the standard EPIK contract.

Article 13 Section 7

"Employee shall be entitled to severance pay (equivalent to approximately one months salary), upon successful completion of each one year contract."

Am I being unreasonable when I request that this "severance" be delivered to me on or beforethe last day of my contract?

I am being told they will deposit it to my bank account in the US.

I really don't trust direct deposit these days even the IRS could deposit my rebates into my bank last year.

I am also expecting them to reimburse my return airfare before I leave I bought a non-refundable ticket.

So am I expecting too much?

I'm pretty sure they have up to 14 days after your final day to complete the severance pay.
