I wonder if "to go Christian Bale on somebody" will make its way into the common lexicon.

Example:

I was having a bad day, and then this ajumma cut into line in front of me. I just lost it. I went Christian Bale on her, and she just looked at me, stunned, as I screamed, "There's a line here! What don't you f**king understand? You're in a hurry?! Ohhh, good! You think your time is more precious than mine?! No! No! Go to the back of the line before I kick your f**king a**!"

I'm not sure which was more embarrassing - the prima donna hissy fit, or the sycophantic arse-kissers pandering to his outburst.

No kidding. To actually take that...I can't even imagine. It would be like living in your own personal hell....on both sides.

already has.

Quote:
She explained tearfully, "My voice is weak tonight and I feel so vulnerable onstage." And just before she closed the 38-minute set, she mentioned how sometimes, like this particular disastrous night, she wished she could just walk off the stage. She then thanked her band for not going all Christian Bale on her and appeared to wipe tears away as she exited the stage.

She=Jessica Simpson, having her own troubles, missing her Tono Romo

Update: Bale apologizes: (also via the HuffPost)

Quote:
LOS ANGELES Christian Bale says he acted like a "punk" and that his profane tongue-lashing on the set of "Terminator Salvation" was inexcusable.

In Friday remarks on a Los Angeles morning radio show, Bale said he never intended to get physical with cinematographer Shane Hurlbut. He also said he was likely channeling too much of his character, John Conner.

Bale also told the "Kevin and Bean" show on KROQ 106.7 that he and Hurlbut reconciled and worked together for another month following the tirade.

The outburst, which occurred last year on the set in New Mexico, was posted this week on the celebrity gossip site TMZ. It has become an Internet sensation, inspiring a music remix, spoofs, and punch lines for the "Kevin and Bean" show.

I bet 85% of hollywood is going SO WHAT!! that happens everyday!
sucks getting caught on tape though....

in hollywood this has been known to happen way back from the 20's and 30's when starlots wouldnt come out of their trailers becuase it was to hot or cold to shoot! blar blar blar/..

so many actors, directors, singers, artists etc.. do this...
If you know anythiing about the entertainment industry and negotiating for what you want.. then you will know prima donna acting and crying and screaming to get what you want is done everyday...
When you have power at your finger tips, depending on your character you will abuse it anyway you want..
you want an insight into hollywood...

download this movie...
What Just Happened

you will see Bruce Willis do a christian bale on robert deniro...

willis plays himself, and deniro plays a hollywood producer.

I guess willis portrays hollywood stars on sets.. becuase bales actions were nothing compared to willis's...

For what, US$5 million, US$10 million?? Yeah, I'd do it too. Where do I sign up?
