After pouring through the idea cookbook, i'm still having trouble coming up with some solid ideas. Here is the situation: It's the last 2 weeks of the semester, but the previous teacher had already finished their textbook. Interestingly enough, the English skill level of these 4th and 5th graders vary heavily.

Basically, i do a review in the morning with each of the classes then play a pretty simple game using material from the review. It's the "extra curricular" classes in the afternoon i need some idea help with. It's mostly the same students from the morning, that show up in the afternoon for the extra class.

Thanks,

Check out genkienglish.net which is really meant for Japanese student but can easily be used for Koreans. The activities are top-notch; I've used many of them with good results.

The Timesaver series of textbooks have some excellent activities and games. You can download or print them from www.scribd.com,

I particularly recommend Timesaver Speaking Activities.

Hope that helps.
