I'm a British citizen living in Seoul. If I want to go to China, I can get a tourist visa from the Chinese embassy in Seoul right? Any complications I should know about?

Not unless you were born in Hong Kong and have a British National Overseas passport.

I just got a China Tourist Visa for my wife and myself. I only needed the application, our passports, our ARC cards, and cash for the actual visa. They didn't ask me for airline tickets or proof of accommodation. They were more worried about the status of my Korean visa. I dropped my stuff off on Tuesday and it was ready on Friday.

I paid 120,000KRW for mine and 35,000KRW for my wife.

Good luck.
