| Has anyone done a short term contract? Does it change the visa regulations? Any info would be appreciated. |

| I had 2 short term contracts before. One was for 3 months and the other for 5 months. This was in 2006 and 2007 before the criminal background check law came into effect. I got an E-2 visa and I needed the usual things, like a bachelor's degree and health check. |

| How was the flight handled? Did you go through a recruiter? I taught for a year before, so I am just curious about how the contracts differ. |

| I came here from Hong Kong so it was just a one way ticket and my school reimbursed me for that. It was $300. I didn't go through a recruiter. I put my resume online and was contacted by a teacher working at the school. |
