Just curious. If you marry a Korean woman presumably you can then apply for Korean citizenship (???). If so, I wonder about 2 things;

1)If you obtain citizenship are you thereafter free to teach without obtaining a visa? You would certainly think so.

2)As an aside if you become a citizen are you then free to teach privates legally.

Anyone know?????

You don't qualify for citizenship, however you do qualify for residency, and that gets you the F-2-1 visa. Basically you can stay in Korea for the duration of that visa regardless of whether you're working or not.
If you want to work then you still have to apply for an E-2 stamp, however the procedure is a lot easier than for a normal E-2 (no visa run, for instance).

You can work at multiple locations and you can also change jobs a lot easier too as the E-2 is no longer your primary visa.
