Hey guys, Im wanting to buy a Canon EOS 400D Digital SLR body 10.1 megapixel and a Canon EF 24-105mm f-4L IS USM lens. Its going to be my first proper camera and as its quite expensive im trying to find a place that does the body and lens as a bundle to try save some cash. Has anyone used a site that they found really cheap, or that were willing to do a bundle as at a discounted rate? Im pretty proficent at Korean, but am having trouble finding what i am looking for.

Or, as im as amature as they come, if anyone has any alternate recommendations re the lens or camera im all ears Smile

I brought this Camera with me from the UK, it's awsome! It's more compact than an SLR + it out performs many lower spec SLR's (whilst being cheaper.)

happy shopping whatever you buy.

you need to consider the crop factor. 400D has a small sensor, though 24-105 L is an excellent lens, imho get the 17-55 2.8 instead.

Search Gmarket. You may need a K coworker's help. I found this one which I think is the body only. At least then you can save on the kit lens.

I have a Nikon D40 (a beginners DSLR), but hardly touch it now. Bought a Canon G10 and love it. Takes pics just as well as the D40 (minus the different lenses) and if 1/3 the size.

Chris_Dixon, did you buy your camera yet?

I'm also looking to buy a DSLR. I've been reading several forums that say Canon is planning to introduce a new DSLR body soon, romoured to be the EOS 500D. It will be a step up from the 450D and offer a lot of the benefits of the 50D, without the price tag.

You might want to hold off on buyng for a month or two if you haven't already bought one.
