|
|
My wife is looking for a store that sells clothes that would actually fit her body (she's around a 10-12 in American sizes). We found one store in Seoul, but seeing as we're in Yecheon (in Gyeongsangbuk-do), Seoul is incredibly inconvenient and warrants an overnight stay.
Are there any clothing stores in Daegu that cater to her size? I figure there has to be at least one store in such a large city, but I'll be damned if I know where it is. |

Try places near Camp Walker, Hyeoncheonno station or Homeplus? |

give me an effing break. a size ten is NOT fat. in a lot of cases it is barely overweight. a whole lot of girls who are no where near fat have trouble finding clothes here. having a 7 inch space between stick-thin thighs is neither attractive, healthy, nor possible w/o eating very very little or having an eating disorder- as a number of korean females do. |

The word is LOSE.
Plus, even if she decided to take your incredibly rude 'advice', that's still not solving the issue of her currently needing size 10 clothes. Thanks for your entirely pointless and misspelled contribution to the discussion. |

Have you considered mail order? I know American Eagle and JC Penney ship here. Depending on your home country, she may have better luck buying online from a store she is familiar with. As another poster mentioned, jeans here are made to fit Korean curves (hips/thighs), or lack thereof. |

I agree with Chris_Dixon, gmarket has a lot of clothes at excellent prices - Pants might be best to buy in-store so she can try them on, but they have tons of tops/skirts/etc and they're available in all sizes. |

Even my Korean friend who is small told me she has difficulty buying women's suit jackets/blazers or whatever their proper name is because she has broad shoulders. So she shops in the men's department. It's not so uncommon. Perhaps your wife would have some luck there... |

Size 10 is usually pretty hot, in my estimation. Maybe your image of fat is skewed because of your pederastic tendencies, perhaps?
Oh, and learn to spell. D!ck. |

There is a reason you are "working" in South Korea. A self explanatory reason. You obviously have not succeeded in life but I'm sure you might be lucky enough to buy a winning lottery ticket.

that is not fat - you have just been looking at Asian frames (bones ARE smaller) for too long
you can get "normal" sizes shipped from Lands End and LL Bean |
