OK, lets try this from another angle. Jesus was a man that walked on earth to help people. Bad things were done in his name so now he is the bad person, doesn't make to much since now does it? You guys think you can make fun of Christianity all you want but when someone pokes fun at something you believe in all you can do is respond with some scientific blah blah that not all scientists even agree on.
You say I believe in something stupid and I say you believe in something stupid, why do you get so offended? |

The belief is exactly what is unfounded. Keep the 'good book', fine, even though there is a lot of sexism, raping and killing going on in there, and even though the grand pilot of the universe is a supposedly concerned with the deeds of each and every one of us and a jealous bastard to boot. What the hell, it's been an international best seller for a long time and has some decent plot twists.
But to accept that amalgamation as fact in the face of loads of evidence to the contrary is juvenile - a byproduct of indoctrination at best. To believe it over other religions touting equally farcical claims, and to allow that believe to justify human atrosities is just the crap yin to the sunny yang of our ability to reason. Some of the underlying messages may be well intentioned in the moral guidence sort of way, but that doesn't mean we have to glean them from this one source, if any source at all, to make it through this life. Jesus was real. Fine. He got a bum wrap and maybe even died on a cross. Ok, so did a lot of people back then. Unfortunately, the way his PR department handled the follow up, the rest of humanity has suffered immensely as a result.
Lose the crutch. Enough is enough. End rant. Blah. |

take out the zombie part, and the rest of the joke about christianity is pretty spot on
the comeback about big bang and evolution is pretty weak. scientists dont believe we evolved from monkeys. we share a common ancestor. and the big bang has nothing to do with evolution. the big bang is not even what created the universe, but rather, how it "grew"
whats funny about the OP is that it somehow makes christianity sound even more absurd than it already does, while really not changing anything (except the zombie thing. thats just funny) |

let's analyze it:
the belief that some cosmic (he is otherworldly) jewish (he was that) zombie (not really a zombie, but he did come back from the dead) can make you live forever (eternal life) if you symbolically eat his flesh (communion) and tell him that you accept him as your master (accepting christ as your savior) so he can remove an evil force (sin) from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman (eve, formed by taking a rib from adam) was convinced by a talking snake (the serpent)to eat from a magical tree (the tree of knowledge)
so
christianity is the belief that an otherworldly jewish man (jesus) who came back from the dead can give you eternal life if you take communion and accept him as your savior so that he can remove the sin that is present in humanity because eve was convinced by the serpent to eat from the tree of knowledge (original sin)
THATS EXACTLY WHAT CHRISTIANS BELIEVE!
not all believe in communion (but many do) and not all believe that the garden of eden story literally happened (but many do)
the whole thing is absurd, and the christians who are offended know it, even if they dont know they know it |

Hey, I like it, might even buy the t-shirt. Now for my obligatory refutable and defence of a position I hold. Despite the fact that the references(albeit inaccurate ones) to the big bang and evolution ignores that many theists share this belief in these two events. And that atheism is defined as a lack of belief in theism, and does not require scientific knowledge. |

That's a great point. There are atheists of the existential and philosophical variety, and there are also religious atheists like Buddhists, Jainists, Daoists, and some varieties of Hindus. |
