|
|
| hey, i just got through a bunch quotes from many insurers and have settled with TIC or AIG because of the price. The differences are the price, just $10 separating either policy, and the medical emergency limit, AIG offers up to $10 million while TIC only offers $5 million. Does it matter that much? Any info dealing with either company would be appreciated. |

Go with AIG. I say so because they have an office in Seoul, for one. And they speak English.
Second, you can never have too much insurance if the prices are the same and the companies are reputable.
I assume it's 10 million won? 5 million is nothing... maybe equal to $4,000 US? |

i was leaning towards AIG because its a big company, but the whole thing with their parent company imploding on themselves kind of scares me a bit.
i'm still in Canada, so its actually in Canadian dollars, but i forgot to mention that. thanks for the reply. |

| AIG got a huge bailout. Don't worry too much for the next 5 years. |
